November in Review

Once again the month flew by and my little buddy is already 8 months old. He is 20 pounds and about 30 inches long. He inchworms everywhere and constantly wants to stand up (with our help). He always wants to try mom and dad’s food. He loved trying Thanksgiving dinner. It is so fun watching him learn and grow, he is constantly testing the waters and trying new things!

This Thanksgiving was extra special because it was Warner’s first one! It is so fun experiencing all of these big milestones with him.  He is the sweetest little guy and is just so happy! His sweet spirit is truly infectious! While it was a fun Thanksgiving the missing presence of my Nana didn’t go unnoticed. Holidays just aren’t the same when you are missing a loved one, but especially that first one. Thankfully there is always a part of her that is with me. The main one being my tiny stature haha (she was a whopping 4’10” when she passed), that is something I most definitely inherited from her. There is not a day that I look in the mirror and don’t think of her! While I am talking about thankfulness I have to add how thankful I am for Warner. I never really had any particular career aspirations beyond college, which I am grateful for experiencing and would do again if I had the chance. However one thing that never faltered for as long as I can remember was my desire to be a mother. On March 23, 2017 at 9:38 in the morning that desire became a reality when God entrusted Ethan and I with Warner Elias Smith. Being his momma is something I will never take for granted and will always strive to do my best at. I can’t wait to see the Godly little boy that he grows up to be.

Needless to say I didn’t get much reading done this month as you can see by the picture lol. Not sure if it was the holidays or what, but I just didn’t seem to have much free time to get reading done. Also, I have been at a little loss for what to read lately, nothing has really popped out at me. So, if you have any suggestions please leave them down in the comments. I would love to check them out. Anywho, this one was  a pretty fun little read! I definitely loved reading about these first hand accounts of the Bush sisters’ adventures growing up during their father and grand father’s presidency.

Okay that’s about all I have for this months recap. I hope that everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving as well! Until next time . 🙂
